Now we have moved we are lucky enough to have the biggest sea of Bluebells I have ever seen right on our doorstep.
On the edge of Marlborough for 2 Sundays each year the forestry commission open up the gates of West Wood for vehicles it helps the Lions club raise money for charity. It is possible to park close by the rest of the year and walk but there is something appealing about going in your car and being able to explore the vast expanse of flowers. As the weather was particularly nice it was quite busy but we managed to find a nice quiet spot to get out have a little walk and take a few photo's. My little girl is growing up - she now has her own ideas for poses and where she would like to stand. The top photo was all her own idea and she insisted on bringing her own camera with us so she could capture the Bluebells herself.
